Our core coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds. What they have in common is that they have been successful in both the public and private sectors and that they understand the value that coaching can bring.

PGCT Bios

Katie

Katie is the Founder and Director of Yellowrattle Coaching Ltd – she coaches people who are shaping the future.

After 10 years in the Royal Air Force, Katie became a digital transformation consultant with PA Consulting in their Defence and Security Practice, continuing her desire to support Government to achieve its strategic aims. Katie is now a full-time professional coach (Henley Business School), student of analytical psychology, and advisor to early-stage technology companies bringing technology to national security.

Nick

Nick’s background is as a television producer and media executive. He also has an MBA and is an ICF qualified coach.

Starting out as a BBC graduate trainee Nick then set up Lion Television which he grew from a start-up to become a successful international production company with bases in London, Glasgow, New York and Los Angeles. Lion won many industry awards including BAFTA, Royal Television Society and Emmy.

Nick now combines his role as CEO of Othrys with work in the TV industry where he is a producer on projects for Netflix and other platforms as well as a consultant to a number of media companies.

Nick

Nick’s background is government foreign affairs specialising in intelligence and security, and then professional services, both of which he draws on in his work as a qualified executive coach and mentor. More recently Nick has followed an entrepreneurial path, including founding a start-up focused on intellectual property. He also sits pro bono on the boards of a number of education institutions, including the University of Sussex.

Sarah-Jill

Sarah-Jill is a Non-Executive Director, Adviser, coach and mentor. After her 30 year career in the Foreign Office, Sarah-Jill successfully transitioned to the private sector, becoming the Security Partner at Deloitte UK for 7 years, responsible for all cyber and people security, confidentiality and privacy. She draws on her wide-ranging experience in the public and private sectors to add value both to companies and individuals in her current portfolio.

Richard

Richard is an executive coach and mentor, drawing on his experience of senior leadership in all three sectors. A 23-year Royal Marines officer, Richard has gone on to forge a successful civilian career in a start-up, as a war crimes investigator and as the MD of an international risk advisory business.
